E-visa application for emergency visa to India

The Indian administration
established a visitor visa on arrival scheme on January 1, 2010. It was

- Passport must have at least six months validity from the date of arrival in India. The passport must have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
- International Travellers need to have a return ticket or onward journey ticket, with adequate cash to spend throughout his/her stay in India.
- Not accessible to Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer journey document holders.
- Not accessible to individuals encouraged on Parent's/Spouse's Passport i.e. each person has to have a separate passport.
- Not accessible to International Travel Document Holders.
